Becoming Whole Ministries goal is to heal through teaching people the “Truth.” What is the Truth, the Truth is the bible, The Word of God. Have you ever heard the saying people do what they do because they believe what they believe? Well, the facts are people have believed and relied upon lies, falsehoods and/or partial truths from the cradle and thus they are saturated (soaked) in darkness.

The Word of God is “the” light that not only illuminates and shows the pathway in darkness it is also the only thing that can and will completely eliminate darkness. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. (John 1:4-5).The darkness is a metaphor for ignorance, guilt, and debasement, and the light is a metaphor for Jesus Christ and his teachings.

“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed!

John 8:31-36 says 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” 33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

So many are “in bondage” because they have bought into and believed the opinions of others (mother/father/family culture or traditions/etc..), what the media (TV, magazines, radio, social media) has said, the things that happened to you or that you’ve seen happen to others and have allowed those things to define and become the truth but in truth these things are like an anchor around the neck, of a man treading water in an ocean, just waiting for the moment when it will finally pull you and keep you under.

Our mission is to do what God commanded and that is to be both the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13) and a light that sits upon a hill (Matthew 5:14) and impact the earth and those that dwell herein with Truth so that (1) they will be in a position to be drawn to a right relationship with Jehovah God (2) will know the Truth (the Son of God – Jesus Christ) and the Truth will set them free and (3) they will begin to live the Life More Abundant that Christ’s death, burial and resurrection purchased for them and become viable citizens of the Kingdom of God.
